What is the Giga Accelerator?
The UNICEF & ITU Giga Initiative connects every school in the world to the internet. The Giga Accelerator selects startups already doing this work and gives them funding, mentorship, and global visibility to scale.
In 2026, from 350+ applicants worldwide, Maclink was selected as one of 10 finalists — the only Nigerian ISP making the list.
The programme provides global mentorship, visibility, and implementation support with a mandate to connect 8 schools by the end of 2026.
